Kevin Love was a little annoyed when he glanced at the scoreboard in the second half of Tuesday's game in Houston and realized he was still short of his usual double-double. He finished with a big fourth quarter to set a Minnesota record with his 38th consecutive double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the Timberwolves' 112-108 win over the Rockets. "I'm not going to lie to you," Love said. "In this one, I was aware, because when you look straight ahead, I kept looking up and trying to get the score. I knew if I had the time, eventually, I was going to get it. It wasn't bugging me too much." Read more: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=310208010
According to many here on S2 (not me), he's a complete stat-padder. Yeah, he doesn't deserve to be an all star.
LOL, he is grabbing 22 & 15, he's doing his job and he's damn good at it. You gotta build around your big men, and Minny is getting shitty guard play so what can he do but grab boards and score where he can.
*cough* Portland fans *cough* Although Aldridge has been playing pretty good, it makes perfect sense for Love to make it. He's averaging stats that no one else has for 30 years. You can't blame loses on one person.
