If Nate loses coach of the year to the part time coach for Indianapolis it would be a crime. I know the Pacers have been winning quite a bit since Vogel took over down there, but the facts are he hasn't coached the whole year, and his team is relatively healthy compared to the Blazers.
I'm so excited for the team! Even if we don't finish as good as the previous 3 season it's so much more fun to watch the passing, alley oops, fast breaks, ball movement, and post play this team has started demonstrating. It is a little sad that maybe some of "Roy's" success was only because this franchise had stunk so badly before he arrived. Maybe he wasn't the top10 player I had thought he was at the time and maybe he was only slightly more valuable than an Andre Miller or Wesley Matthews is to this year's squad. I still believe for this team to make some post-season noise they will need to succesfully integrate Roy into a productive roll. We've beaten up on some bad teams lately to get the 5th seed, we arn't going to continue this climb without a roster addition. Gosh I would love for him to buy into a Jason Terry roll off the bench then we can keep Pattys ass where it belongs, glued to the bench!
