Huzzah! lol lets see if DW can get us another irrelevant win in the 3 pt contest! How can free agents not be knocking down the doors of Oracle trying to play on the W's?!
hahahah Seriously!? That's quite a miscalculation on his part. I never woulda thought that he shot that many.
Yeah, it was like 150 a season, but he was right about 25%. Curry was really confident in that second round, it was fun to watch. Hope Dorrell at least advances to the next round though.
Dorell owned by Pierce at the end of the first round lol. I'd love to see Steph in this next year though. And how does Morrow not get in? I believe he has the highest career 3 pt % of anyone in NBA history. Hes got those legendary stories of him hitting like 90+% on jumpers when doing summer workouts at the W's practice facility.
Yeah, I feel bad for Morrow. Durant didn't belong in there, and it was pretty clear from his performance. Morrow's better than Gibson too, but only by a little. And at least Dorrell did get into the finals, but his feet are set too wide. It's way too hard to keep rythym when the feet keep on sliding out like that.
His release is very non-compact too. Takes more time and makes the awkwardness of grabbing the ball at your side and going into your shooting motion even more awkward. Glad Steph won but seemed like only he and Westbrook were even trying. Is it an unwritten rule for the vets to let the young guys win it? Dunk contest is such BS. Its actually been fairly impressive but Blake just did the two least impressive dunks out of the whole bunch and hes moving on.
The problem with any dunk contest is that the most exciting dunks are done in traffic, not by yourself or on a breakaway. Go watch a Nique follow or even Baron over Kirilenko. The lone exception would be a Dr. J windmill. (Don't even get me started on "Vinsanity", that was so ridiculous, a 360 on a breakaway, big deal, its the same as a layup off the glass; elbow on the rim after the dunk? Spud Webb was 100 times better.)
