This is why the police shouldn't be able to just come into your home...

Apparently he never fired his weapon, the gun was on safety, and the Police won't present the warrant to the public. 70 rounds is a HUGE overshoot, and apparently some of the neighbors reported stray bullets hit their homes. The guy never did anything wrong, he was a veteran of two tours over in Iraq, and he was merely trying to defend his family from what he perceived to be a threat. The cops are lying about the circumstances of this raid, and we can't allow this kind of thing to continue. The police can NOT enter your home without just cause.

They shot him 60 times and they left him to bleed to death for an hour before they would let paramedics look at him. Fuck the police.

It's a shitty thing that happened for sure, but isn't really relevant, IMO, to the discussion of cops entering your home with no reason. They had a reason(incorrectly) and supposedly had a warrant. I don't want to make it sound like I side with the cops in this situation here. Just saying I don't see the relevance, if this is in reference to a previous thread about Indiana cops not needing a warrant or whatever.

The relevance is that these guys supposedly had a warrant and they fucked up in a major way. Imagine how much worse it would be if Police could just enter your home without anything more than a hunch. This was supposedly with investigation and surveillance, but people trust the police to go off their gut?

Clear case of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, torture, denial of medical treatment...

That's why you can't hesitate when strangers come through your door. It's kill or be killed.

That's why I shot the Jehovah's Witnesses on my front porch today. I couldn't be sure if they were going to open up on me, and better safe than sorry.

Well, a guy is dead. I'm sure that is relevant to his family. Imagine the police being able to enter your home without a warrant, and what could happen.

It's a good thing for all of us you are so completely familiar with what really happened. To the point you were clearly there.

Frankly, I won't be surprised to hear someday you ambushed and murdered some poor police officer.

You are one whacked out dude. I don't know what medications you may take, but if I were you I'd meet with my doctor and get the meds straightened out, or get on some that will help.

If the police did indeed illegally enter this person's house and shoot him, then they will need to be punished accordingly. Let true justice prevail- both criminally and civilly.

what does this mean? so if the guy just unloaded his gun and killed all of the cops, would you have the same attitude?

"if the gunman is found guilty, then he will need to be punished accordingly...let true justice prevail!" lol

Sure I'd say the same thing.

Right now all we have is speculation and spin. When the investigation into this is concluded, let the chips fall where they may- for both sides.

If the guy really was certain he had no idea who was entering his house, and the police gave no verbal warnings at all, then it seems to me he'd have every right to fire a weapon to defend his family.
