The lawyer for Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor confirmed Thursday that the player's driving privileges have been reinstated after the quarterback showed proof that he was insured.

Officials at the Ohio Department of Public Safety said Wednesday that Pryor's driving privileges in the state had been suspended because he failed to produce proof of insurance when he was pulled over for a stop-sign violation on Feb. 19 in Columbus.

Pryor's attorney, Larry James, said Thursday that Pryor since had shown proof he had insurance. James said he had a copy of the insurance policy that was in place at the time of the stop.

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles then immediately reinstated Pryor's driver's license, a bureau spokesman said Thursday, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Pryor and his cars are a part of the NCAA's investigation of violations at Ohio State, the Dispatch has reported. Coach Jim Tressel was forced to resign Monday.
