Irony defined, IMO. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie...ME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2011-06-13-00-56-29
The real irony is that a residential real estate agent, in Lapine, that was previously a government employee, is trying to call out a consultant.
Not a single clue about the real world. Yeah, almost $1 trillion later, the joke is on all of us. I hope Immelt and Obama laugh about this again the next time they golf together.
It's painfully clear from your threads, but don't despair. Hang in there and listen to me. I've got a much wider array of life experiences than most, and I enjoy sharing what I've learned with the less adventurous. You'll catch on.
I'm not on a government contract I wouldn't now how to even apply for one. You do realize that there are private industry consultants, right? Dumb post, and a dumb thought. I accept the apology you'll never give me in advance.
Yes, the government uses them all the time. I think ALL consultants are private sector. I am unaware of the existence of any Federal consultants. There is not a Department of Consulting that I know of anyway. I've been back in the private sector for 15 years now so don't hold me to that. Or are you claiming you would refuse to accept a job advising the government?
Filling out a standard form to bid on a job is too complicated for your grasp? Maybe advising others how to run their business isn't really the best use of your limited talents?
I thought you ran back to the kitchen to rustle up sandwiches for the customers when they want dill, not sweet. What kind of advice do you give, with examples, and to what kind of businesses? Restaurants?
