http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/214235/Wolves_Offer_No_2_Pick_To_Lakers_For_Bynum Not horrible I guess. Probably a higher risk, higher reward than anyone they could draft at #2. No idea what the L*kers are after at #2?
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum That'd be a pretty good deal for the Wolves. I don't see the Lakers biting on that. Ed O.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum I'm even sad they are talking to the L*kers to be honest. Soon #2 for Bynum will turn into Matt Barnes for #2 and Love, then Odom and Bynum for Howard. Just accept it
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum I'll disagree with the chorus, and say that if the Wolves are offering this, the Lakers should take it. I don't trust Bynum's knees, and if I'm Jerry Buss, I get out from that contract and get a potential stud in Williams. Maybe insist Koufos be included so that they have a backup C.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum I bet this was a shocker to Laker fans who thought they'd be able to get the #2 pick by shipping out 30-somethings Pau Gasol or Lamar Odom.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum pau is probably worth it, but only to a team that wants to make a run now
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum If the Lakers think they can get D.Howard then I think they should roll the dice and take this deal.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum Yep, and since Minny and Cleveland both are years from contention, taking a risk on Bynum over getting another SF/PF seems more appetizing to Minny. Plus, Williams could have a few years to develop as Bryant starts to fade a bit.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum I was thinking the same thing. His knees are risky. And he continues to do/say stupid things. I would be tired of his act by now. Williams is pretty good.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum Bynum is a chronic underachiever with a long injury history and huge contract. The LA media has blown up his value so much it's crazy. If I were Buss, I'd take that deal in a second since LA needs to get a new PG or PF with upside for the future.
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum He's had a PER of over 20 for the last four seasons. How is that underachieving for the tenth pick in the draft? He's had one season where he missed more than half the games in the season, and if you count playoff games he's played in at least 70 games in three seasons and over 60 in four. Not too bad at age 23, even given his injuries. Ed O.
Yeah, I think Bynum is being extremely underrated. He's definitely a major injury risk, but he's produced a ton of value and probably will continue to (though he's always in danger of missing some time).
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum well, he had a PER of EXACTLY 20.0 one year, so only 3 years OVER 20... i think he has done great, but alot of people saw him taking the next step to 20/10
Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum Agree. Many of us would be thrilled if we got that from Oden and he was the #1 pick!

Re: #2 offered up for Vagynum PG: Rubio SG: Johnson SF: PF: Love C: Bynum All of sudden the Wolves are a problem. That's if Bynum's leg doesn't fall off.
