    No, not even close.

But seriously, doesn't medical red flag scream future Portland TrailBlazer?

Oh ya, that guy that starts for the Spurs and averages 8/7 in only 21 minutes? He was a 2nd round pick, so there was no risk.

Point is, we had three opportunities to draft him, and we didn't.

sure. With where we draft, you only really get greatness if you use subterfuge or take risks.

If we (or SAS) don't leak rumors about Nic's heart, he goes 15 spots earlier. Blair with two "regular" (I was about to say "healthy", but the guy's played every game in his life in the last 4 years) knees would've been a high lotto pick.

Same thing goes with buyout issues. You get a discount if you get "irregular" merchandise. Rubio free-and-clear to come over in 2009 is the 2nd or 3rd pick, not 5.

Bismack Biyombo has been given a last minute invitation to the Green Room, and is heavily rumored to be Detroit's pick. So I think we're safe from the threat of Biyombo.

It's fine to pick up a couple of dented cans and the occasional carton of milk that is just about to hit its expiration date, but you don'f fill your whole shopping cart with that stuff.
