    IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (23-0, 19 KOs) registered his nineteenth stoppage in twenty-three professional fights, gaining a TKO victory over Yusaf Mack (29-4-2, 17 KOs) at 2:57 of the eighth round.

    Fought on the undercard of the Devon Alexander – Lucas Matthysse contest at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO, the victory by Cloud likely sets up a big showdown with former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal, who was ringside for the match.

    Yusaf Mack gave Tavoris Cloud trouble in the early rounds, utilizing his fast hands and movement to neutralize the more aggressive champion. But as the fight wore on, the challenger began to slowdown and the champion turned up the heat, ending matters in the eighth with a big left hook followed by a flurry of punches to send Mack to the canvas
