If unbeaten British and Commonwealth champion Tyson Fury (15-0, 10 KO’s) wants a fight against 40-year-old former Prizefighter tourney winner Martin Rogan, Fury’s management is going to have to give Rogan a better offer. Rogan rejected an offer made to him this week for a fight for the Irish heavyweight title.

It’s unlikely that Fury and his promoter Mick Hennessey will made any additional offers to get Rogan for Fury’s next fight on September 17th in Belfast. Given that there’s a little more than a month to go before that you can’t really expect much. Of course, Fury wasn’t aiming high to begin with by choosing Rogan to fight instead of a world class contender.
