Re: Chicago Blackhawks Season Thread Good news, Patrick Sharp is expected to play against the Stars on friday. 2nd round pick Brandon Saad was also signed to a contract deal and the Hawks extended Bowman.
Saad's deal is worth $950,000 if he plays all 82 games, $600,000 if he misses one of those games. Oh and 2011-2012 Ice Girls. <3
Hes probably going to play the 9 games and be sent down. But still it'll be nice to see what he can do this year.

The ceremony for Hull and Mikita was pretty awesome to watch. Going to get to Chicago as soon as possible to check them out.

Caricllo was suspended for two games after his hit on Carolina Hurricanes dman, Joni Pitkanen. He received no penalty in the game, but due to his past he received the suspension. Last night John Scott played in replace for Carcillo. NHL Explanation Last nights game was so frustrating. Three goals were called off for the Blackhawks and one for the Blue Jackets. Stalberg almost netted himself a hat trick. Bolland got another shorthander.
