Iowa has suspended backup quarterback A.J. Derby for two games following his weekend arrest. Derby, a redshirt freshman, was arrested on charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication following an incident at an Iowa City bar late Saturday night. Sherriff's deputies responded to a complaint that a man had punched out the window of a bus as he was departing it. A criminal complaint states that the 20-year-old Derby admitted to punching out the window and said he would pay for the damage. He submitted to a breath test that showed his blood-alcohol level at .120, and he was booked and released that night.
