Surprisingly the 2 teams that visited Chip are the top scoring teams in the league.

Blazers-Heat in the Rose Bowl this June! If the BCS computers do not get it wrong, that is.

Could you imagine if the Blazers and Heat make it to the finals?!?! How proud would Chip be? How many other teams will request the "Chip" teachings of winning in the NBA?

Excellent article. It makes a lot of sense to push the ball at every opportunity with the rosters that the Heat and Blazers have.

That's the approach the Blazers have taken too. They're being very judicious with their attempts (which further limits long rebounds off of misses and improves transition defense).

Anybody know the NBA equivalent of going for it on 4th down from your own 35?

Getting Chris Bosh to shoot a 3 with less than 2 seconds left in regulation with you down 3.

Chip Kelly is pioneering an entirely new breed of sports coaches. He doesn't fit into any box.... he's made his own box and busts out of it almost routinely. Not bound by a single sport, handles the media with a mix of deftness, boredom, and humor, and almost transcends sport into life coaching. It's amazing to see it all happen so close by.

It would be like being down 1 with a free throw attempt and 5 seconds left, then hitting the rim on purpose and getting the rebound to make a 2.

This only helps the Ducks recruiting.

The more PR this gets the better for Kelly and U of O.
