Re: What's the deal with Eddie Griffin? He's a mess. He could have been a very special player in this league, but he has too many internal problems. He has a drinking problem and has shown up to practice smelling of alcohol a few times within the past few years, he doesn't work any extra (he just does what he has to at practice). Also, did you hear about his most recent incodent? Where he was driving drunk while jacking off while watching porn, he ended up crashing into a pole. LMAO that's a classic. He could have been a more athletic Rasheed Wallace if he wanted to.
Re: What's the deal with Eddie Griffin? The summer of Griffin's draft I didn't like him at all. He had plenty of issues at Seton Hall. I remember the talk then of him being the #1 pick and remember posting on my messageboard about how big of a mistake it could be. In the NBA he's spent most of his time shooting from the perimeter and being completely inneffective. I remember him in Houston shooting three pointers and I'd just cringe. What a complete waste of talent. He was so good in college and everything came so easy to him...and he came to the NBA and nothing on offense translated and he didn't work on anything...it's as if he didn't think he had to work on anything to be successfull.
