St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead said Thursday in an interview with ESPN Radio's "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that "multiple teams" have contacted the team about trading for the No. 2 overall pick. "I won't give a number, Colin, but I will say this: We've been approached by multiple teams, and some of them are obvious and some of them are not so obvious, until you sit down and analyze their situation and understand where they're coming from," Snead said, when asked how many teams have inquired about acquiring the draft choice. While the Colts are widely expected to take quarterback Andrew Luck as the eventual heir to Peyton Manning with the No. 1 overall draft pick, it is Robert Griffin III who has sparked the speculation about the No. 2 selection. This past season's Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor is seen as a good fit with a number of teams, increasing the likelihood of the Rams, who picked Sam Bradford first overall in 2010, dealing the pick in a bid to stock up.
