Arsenal make the trip to Goodison Park on Wednesday to face The Toffees, who are in FA Cup action this weekend. Everton have an anemic break-even goal scoring record but unlike equally par Newcastle they've had more defeats than wins. Arsenal have five straight wins in the EPL and look to put more pressure on Sp*rs, who will be hosting Stoke while we're at Everton. Arsenal are a point behind the scum and are even on goal differential so every little bit counts.

Extra time hero Vermaelen scores to open the game at eight minutes. Corner from a header. Easily done, poor defending by Everton.

Arsenal creating chances easily so far. Could get out of hand at this rate.

Smash and grab. Arsenal lucky to escape with the full three points.

Sp*rs draw with Stoke means we're third. St-Totteringham's day is upon us, old chaps.

Chelsea and Liverpuddle lost, too? Well by golly what a cracker of a day this' been.

Also, I'm losing patience with Gervinho. What the hell happened to this guy? When he gets the ball you can be assured he will cock it up.
