A giant sand sculpture of Barry is being built outside the stadium! :biglaugh:

Reminds me a bit of this...

Between this and his chair that says "The President" (probably put there by Valerie Jarrett so the idiot knows where to sit when he's actually not out golfing or campaigning), have we seen a bigger narcissist in the White House?

A Republican sculpted his idea of a generic black man. Big ears and soap bar teeth. It doesn't look like Obama.

thats a pretty crappy rendering of him.

Plus, it is more of a tourist advertisement than it is anything to do with the DNC, but as usual, nice fail on your part.

It's at the DNC epicenter. But no, it has nothing to do with the DNC, even though they are paying for it, and it's at the convention.

It's ridiculous. How anybody thought that was a good idea ... well, I guess they are the Democrats.

Maybe they'll Blame Bush for it.

It means that everybody with a brain was mocking Obama and the Dems for it, and an actual adult within the administration demanded it be torn down before it did even more damage to their goofy President.

    Duh.

    Bill Maher is an atheist.

For him to "expose" Mormonism is redundant, and partisan.

Why doesn't he just call out every single last Presidential candidate in living memory?

Why the special attack on Mormons?

Once you take the leap to believe in goofy stuff, what the fuck does it matter what that goofy stuff is?

Did Maher "expose" the very disturbing things that Obama's long-time mentor and religous leader said before the 2008 election?

link? (the paying for it bit)

It's ugly, and looks nothing like him. But it's rich to hear republicans and conservatives bitch about blaming it on Bush, when for YEARS they blamed everything bad that happened during Bush's terms on Clinton. But whatever. It's sour grapes for guys who know their candidate is the John Kerry of candidates.

do you even watch Maher? He doesn't like any candidate who trumps out their religious beliefs and since the current one (for the R's) is a Mormon and it's a little bit of an odd religion (as far as religions go), yeah, wah. he's "exposing" it.

I'm still laughing about that stupid sand sculpture. Unfortunately, it appears that the 16 tons of sand came from Myrtle Beach, SC, where the Army Corps of Engineers recently had a $60 million beach renovation due to erosion.

Watching the lefties on this board get so riled up trying to defend this tacky sand thing is well worth killing some marine life, though.

no one is defending it (in fact, I bet most people think it's pretty lame. both the sand sculpture and you're attempt to "rile up" people and create a story) and as usual, you're painting a picture that isn't occurring. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
