6'11" guy with a triple double tonight (10 points, 12 rebounds, 10 blocks). Aldridge for Sanders/Ellis. We get an All Star level scorer (Monta Ellis) and a big man who can play defense. That kind of trade appeals to me a lot more than trading for MKG.
how bout LMA and Hickson and filler for Ibaka, Lamb, PjIII and Toronto 1st rdr - believe it is top 3 protected this year
Young players. 10 blocks. The next Roy Hibbert? Gotta get him now when not too many people are paying attention. I started a thread about Ibaka years ago when no one was talking about him. You gotta buy low on these guys.
I remember I was really hoping we'd get Sanders with the 16th pick in 2010. Sanders went #15, but we got Babbitt so it's all good!
I don't know about Larry Sanders, but thanks to your idea I'm going to target Colonel Sanders after I take my dog to the vet. Thanks!
Small sample size but Batum actually played his best ball (not counting this season) at SG in the past. I think he can easily play either position.
Last year, when Batum played the most SG of his career, he was significantly better at SF. I, personally, don't see the justification for saying Batum's best position is SG.
I didn't say it was his best position and Batum has done light years better this year then in the past so it is moot point. I did say I think he can play both (unlike most other players if you want me to expand). Thank you for the stats though. I stand corrected on last year, I recall him playing well at SG and in a lot of areas he did by looking at your numbers.
I complete agree he's perfectly capable at both positions. I was just talking about how many times I've heard/seen people say he's better at SG, I looked the stats up a while ago and you gave me an opportunity to post them. Obviously the glaring statistic above is the TOs while at SG. I think Batum could eventually be better at SG than SF though.
