New York's Red Bull Arena and Seattle's CenturyLink Field will return to hosting duties, though LA's Home Depot Center and Kansas City's Sporting Park, hosts in 2011, are not on the list.

The cup will also return to five venues from its previous editions, including Cowboys Stadium (2009, '11); Soldier Field (2007, '09, '11); the Rose Bowl (1991, '02, '11); Red Bull Arena ('11) and CenturyLink Field ('05, '09).

The full list of host cities and venues is as follows:

The United States, Canada and Mexico qualified automatically, and will be joined by Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti and Martinique from the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, and El Salvador from Central America, with Panama and Guatemala set to play off for the final Central American spot on Friday.

The field for the CONCACAF Gold Cup is finally set, as Panama cruised past Guatemala 3-1 in the Copa Centroamericana's fifth-place game to earn the final Central American berth in this summer's tournament.

FC Dallas forward Blas Pérez buried a header in the 27th minute to open the scoring and send Panama on their way. It was Pérez's second goal of the tournament and the 28th of his national team career.

Panama join Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and first-time qualifiers Belize in qualifying for the Gold Cup from Central America.

Cuba, Haiti, Martinique and Trinidad & Tobago qualified from the Caribbean region.

The United States, Mexico and Canada qualified automatically.

2013, 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup winners will play one-off match for 2017 Confederations Cup berth

Forget rosters stocked with fringe players, the big boys saved for the edition that determines Confederations Cup placement. Every Gold Cup is on equal footing from here on out.

CONCACAF announced on Friday that the champions of the 2013 Gold Cup will qualify for a playoff match to decide which national team will represent the region in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. The champions of the 2015 Gold Cup will become the second team to qualify for the single-game playoff, scheduled to take place in the second half of that same year at a site to be determined.

"This novel CONCACAF Gold Cup playoff format for the FIFA Confederations Cup is an essential and perhaps long due adjustment required to enhance the crown jewel of national team competitions within our confederation," CONCACAF president Jeffrey Webb said in a statement. "This innovative resolution will allow the champion of every single Gold Cup edition to have the same competitive opportunity to represent CONCACAF at the international level."

The new CONCACAF qualifying process, approved by the Confederation's Executive Committee, assures that both editions of the Gold Cup in each four-year cycle have the same importance from a competitive perspective.
