UVA is a beautiful campus and the Ducks will have first class treatment! That said.... two things that worry me about this game.... time change and heat..... Humidity to be exact.... I'm from Virginia and it can be really hot first week of September.... Ducks need to train for humid cause that can sneak up on you and sap your energy in a hurry!

I still expect the Ducks to win by 35 but don't be surprised if UVA shows up. The HOOS have been known to play one good game a year!!!!!

Nevada dropped Oregon and moved the game to 2016.

Nevada's OOC this year to start the season was @Florida State, vs. Oregon, and @ UCLA.

That was no way to break in a new coach. so Oregon agreed to delay the game if Nevada could find Oregon a suitable replacement. Penn State dumped UVA for SFU, UVA became available. and Nevada gets their FCS game at home without having to pay Oregon a buy-out.

Oregon DID NOT dump Nevada on this deal.

good thing they didn't tear down the indoor practice facility that allows them to duplicate climate conditions including humidity eh? As for the time change, their in-season practices start at 5AM PST... pretty sure the game won't be starting any earlier then that

All I can say is when you play hoops in Colorado you feel the air change, when you fly east you have jet lag and your body clock is off for a bit, and when you meet 105 and humidity with a bright sun you feel it, if you haven't trained in for years.... I'm sure a practice facility can do all those things but it's still important to note! Every time I go home it takes a couple days to acclimate to the heat in the summer......take it for what its worth....
