The NBA is considering moving back the draft at least one week, according to a source with ties to the league and its TV partners.

The NBA believes that the draft can become a bigger showcase for new players by creating more distance between its air date and the conclusion of the Finals.

NBA and ABC/ESPN and Turner executives began preliminary discussions during the playoffs about the next TV deal.

Pushing back the draft would delay the start of the free agency and the Summer League.

I totally agree with the consideration. Drafting should be made of a larger showcase, this is so that the general public would be more aware of youngsters joining the NBA. Very often, audience only know of a few key players (i.e. Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, etc) but fail to realise that the league has many other players around.
