The NBA is considering moving back the draft at least one week, according to a source with ties to the league and its TV partners. The NBA believes that the draft can become a bigger showcase for new players by creating more distance between its air date and the conclusion of the Finals. I totally agree with the consideration. Drafting should be made of a larger showcase, this is so that the general public would be more aware of youngsters joining the NBA. Very often, audience only know of a few key players (i.e. Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, etc) but fail to realise that the league has many other players around.
