Allen Iverson, an 11-time All-Star who has not played in the NBA since 2010, is prepared to officially announce his retirement in the coming days, SlamOnline.com reports. According to the report, the 38-year-old Iverson has come to terms with the fact that his playing career is finished. He has not played professionally since 2011 in Turkey.
To be honest, Iverson could be an asset to many teams, regardless of the fact that he hasn't played pro since 2011. The Raptors, Grizzlies, Pacers, Suns, and Cavs could definitely use him, and for a decent amount of money. I honestly don't think he would have to worry about making his way back up the D-League, nor would I see him being willing to do that.
