...or most gratifying as it relates to sports that is! First is a shot of the GSW fans leaving in droves with FOUR minutes left in the game and only down 10 points! When you've got a guy like Curry who can score 10 points by himself in 40 seconds - this was a really bitch move with so much time left. Pic doesn't really capture the lines of people heading for the exits but look at all the empty seats already. Second is my son proudly wearing his Blazers t-shirt in enemy territory and getting to see his first ever Blazer win at Oracle (in 5 or 6 tries). He said his hands hurt from clapping so much! And last but not least . . . scoreboard, bitches! Great game - so glad I scrambled this morning to find these last minute tickets!
Nice pics! Any other notes regarding what any of the GS fans said during of after the Melee at the bay? Also, cute kid, raising him right, Blazer through and through. Repped
Thank you . . . and in regards to the GSW it was pretty comical and a good illustration of why we, as fans, are never happy with the refs or think we ever get enough calls in our favor. We couldn't see what happened during the scuffle because they did not show a single replay of it in the stadium. But it was pretty ridiculous that we lost Wes and Mo in exchange for that scrub Green. And to now see the highlights finally and try to understand why Bogut wasn't tossed? And the BS travel on LMA after Lee bowled him over that led to Wes' first tech - two very good examples of calls that went GSW's way. But they bitched and moaned that everything was being called in favor of the Blazers. I have to say that several of the calls against Klay were pretty ticky tack and lead to him being in foul trouble most of the game before fouling out. This was huge because he was lighting it up . . . but no more so than Wes was when he was tossed. Bottom line is that the calls went both ways for better or worse (just read thru some pages of the game thread where our fans say we are play 5v8) and this Blazers team had the stones to pull out an incredible victory on the back end of a back to back to get its 10th straight win . . . in an arena where they've struggled mightily in recent years. It was incredible - I would've paid 100x the face value of these tix just to see the excitement and joy on my son's face as they made their run in the 4th.
Love this! Glad you got to have this experience with your kid! I can't rep you (and it means 'ish anywaya) so if someone could for me, that'd be great.
I wished the Blazers would show these type of posts of fans outside Portland to the team. Could get them pumped to perform like this on the road all the time! Special story bro!
