How the fuck does this team keep winning?! Now they beat golden state tonight! I've been thinking for two months they are coming back to earth but they never do. This team was pegged to be worse then Utah yet are top 8 in west. What am I missing??? They have average talent everywhere. Bledsoe is good but not a star.

Our starters are far superior but their bench is way better then ours as far as scoring goes

    1) Golden State isn't that good. Their bench isn't very good. They don't have a legit second star to go with Curry.

    2) Phoenix is a good team. Dragic and Bledsoe are very good players.

Dragic can't defend to save his life. There's something wrong with the suns winning. I just don't see the talent

Only 1 1/2 months ago, the conventional wisdom was that Golden State might be the best in the league, while Phoenix would tank for the strong draft.

So glad, Nate, that you too are seeing that Golden State sucks. They severely miss Jack and Landry. Our starters were (and still are, even more so) far superior to GS's last year. The only reason they were in the second round and we weren't was Jack and Landry. This year we have our own Jack in Mo Williams and people are all bitching. But those 8-9 points Mo is giving us every night and making the difference.

As for the Suns, they are for real. Forget top 8, they are competing for the 4th seed. They're not going to suddenly suck unless players get hurt or they make a trade to make the team worse.

Yep. Warriors were supposeD to be locks for a top 4 seed and we were supposed to be battling for 8th. Truth prevails though.

Golden State doesn't suck, but I don't think they're a top 5 team in the west.

Top 5? They're not even a top 9 in the West. Right now, they're 9 but I think at least one of Lakers, Wolves, Grizzlies, or Pelicans will pass them. I mean, Mark Jackson said the Toronto game was the best win of his life but what the fuck were they doing fall behind by 27 to the Raptors?

Well, Iggy has been out, so I'm sure that's hurting them a lot. I thought the Iggy deal was bad though. They lost their bench, so they have a nice starting five right now, but no bench. They're essentially the Blazers from last year.

Iggy isn't a star anymore man. He doesn't put up star numbers.

    LaMarcus Aldridge is a star.

    Damian Lillard is a star.

    Steph Curry is a star.

Who else is a star on Golden State?

I don't think Klay Thompson is a star yet.

When healthy they are a lot better than the Blazers from last year. They have a starting lineup that fits well together (ours did not with Hickson at C last year) and they would have Barnes coming off the bench who has more talent in his pinky then our entire bench did last year.

Don't the Suns have a bunch of 1st draft picks this next year?

What does last year's Blazers team have to do with the discussion? The Warriors let Jack and Landry go. Now they suck. Deal with it.

It's not like I care, i was responding to natebishop saying the warriors are like the blazers of last year. you could have easily seen that in my quote of what he said.

And the protection is off of our draft pick right? No matter where we finish Charlotte gets it?

Sucks for them. That's going to be a very low 1st round pick.
