I know most of us were aware, but I figured I'd mention it anyway. As of yesterday, Mo Williams, Dorell Wright, and recent free-agents league-wide are now able to be included in deals.

    Gentlemen, start your trade engines!!

I believe if Olshey is going to trade anyone, it's not players that see significant playing time.

From that list are: Leonard, Claver, Barton, Crabbe, and even possibly CJ

We really need a "tlong approved" designation for threads, so that we know which ones are worthy of discussion and which are "stupid".

You missed Watson. And I think you're probably right. However, if we actually traded for someone who would be expected to get significant playing time, it would make sense to send out someone who currently is receiving PT.

I'd do Wright/Leonard for Hawes, or Williams/Freeland for Lowry. Or both...

Somehow I believe we are keeping Watson for some reason. He really communicates with the team throughout the game. He may not get playing time, but he's definitely part of our success, IMO.

Sure--I'm just saying that he belongs on the list of guys who don't currently get PT. He also has virtually 0 trade value--probably the least desirable player on our roster from another team's perspective.

And to go with your playing time for playing time. I could see us using freeland, if we could get a low post presence back.

I actually really love Varejao, even though I doubt he's available. What about getting Bynum? He's getting paid a lot, but I think Cleveland may be interested.

Aldridge said Houston wants Varejao, but Cleveland doesn't want to part with him. That's why Aldridge doesn't think the Cleveland deal will go down.

Let's see how you can make up 12 mil in salaries for Bynum.

Leonard, freeland, claver, Barton, and Crabbe make up 8 mil. We don't have enough salary. Okay I was dreaming! Haha

You only have to make up 2/3 of the incoming salary (incoming must be no more than 150% + 100K of outgoing). 8 mil should be enough.

If that's the case, I think Cleveland would really consider it. Would you do it? Bynum, if healthy, is a damn good player; able to rebound, block shots and score with his back to the basket:

We will see tomorrow night if that was a dream or a nightmare. Talk about potential chemistry busters. How is he moving this year? Hard to believe he is only 26.

IF healthy yes, he is good. However, decimating our bench (which we would have to replace) could likely put us back to last year's bench (or worse).

I'll pass. To big of a risk for too little reward.

The problem with that is that there is no way in hell Bynum will stay healthy for an entire year.
