If he is playing well, you have to make time for him which may mean fewer minutes for Wes and someone like Dorrell Wright potentially. I don't think he benches another scorer and playmaker like Mo Williams
Dorell Wright. Mo Williams. I don't give a shit. It's not like those guys are playing great right now.
Is CJ a SF now? Why would he take minutes from Wright? And please don't say that Wes is going to play SF. He takes minutes from Mo or he's a DNP. I can't wait.
Have to ask Stotts, but I'm looking forward to CJ playing next to Mo in the second unit instead of Lillard.
I much prefer to pretend to be the GM to pretending to be the coach who decides minutes. I think we have an excellent coach who has the following facts in front of him: CJ will be an excellent talent. Our bench has a terrible +/-. Put these together and the conclusion is CJ will play. My guess is that Lillard and Mo will play less together.
Its going to be pretty hard for him to get minutes. Being a rookie I'm concerned about what he does on defense. Our defense is a much bigger problem than our offense. It'll be fun to see him on the court at all though.
Jesus, I sure hope his foot is healed. We need to sacrifice a goat, or some other crazy ritual to keep this guy healthy. I love his game, but I really don't want the 3rd break to come this next year b/c of not resting long enough.
Yes, That's exactly what I've been saying! And that's exactly why I think he might be more valuable to a win now team Blazers in a trade.
I'm sure CJ McCollum, with his twice broken foot and not a single minute of playing time in the NBA, is a quite valuable trade chip. (not)
I think Dame needs some of the minutes cut, that Mo will take. Then cut a little of Mo's minutes and give that to CJ. I think realistically, we need to see if he deserves the minutes first. Then we can worry about getting him some.
