The Pacers just got killed by the Raptors tonight, so I guess that means the Pacers are "pretenders" just like Portland. Heh, heh.

Seriously, let's hear the media go after the Pacers now for losing to a sub-.500 team. Either that or give Portland their due.

I wonder if he was told in the locker room at half that they needed him, then he decided, to just take it easy?

Jeesh, Rudy Gay leaves the Raptors and they all the sudden kick the crap out of 2 of the best teams in the league!

They are 8-2 in the last ten games and Indiana was playing a b2b after New Years.

Ind is 5-4 on the 2nd game of a back-to-back.

Portland is 7-2 on the 2nd game of a back-to-back. (Loss to Dallas on a game winning shot, and loss to Minn on the 4th game in 5 nights).

When Indy played in Portland and lost, both teams were playing the 2nd of a back-to-back with Ind arriving 5 hours or more earlier.

I never said we lost to Toronto. My point is that the "experts" have been crowing about how legitimate the Pacers are all season, yet they just lost to a team under .500. If the Pacers are still an elite team with this kind of a loss on their record, then I think you have to consider the Blazers an elite team, as well.

We should trade Meyers, Mo, CJ and TRob for Hibbert. Finally Lopez will have a decent backup.

Let this be a note to ANYONE who thinks the Blazers should go after Carmelo Anthony, he's an even bigger no defense, black hole, ball movement killer than Rudy Gay. Toronto's APG has gone up by nearly 4 per game since the Rudy Gay trade.

Basketball is still a team sport and I love seeing teams like Portland, Phoenix and now Toronto winning without a league sanctioned superstar.

Yes I am, but what does race have to do with anything I said? Or do you assume playing team basketball is a white thing? It's not. The Blazers don't have a single starter that's white and only one white player in their top 9 in minutes played. And technically, Toronto got slightly less white by also sending Aaron Gray to Sacramento in the Rudy Gay trade.
