Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Bryan Caraway withdraws due to injury, replacement not yet identified
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Tate can fill in for him, she's just as big. This card is kind of weak...
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Rivera out with a broken hand. Should be enough time to find a replacement.
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Shad is out. Sonnen has offered to fight Cormier on extremely short notice.
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) This event should be a good indicator of Rousey's drawing power. There's nothing propping the event up behind her. Casuals don't know Cormier very well and McDonald and Maia are both coming off losses.

Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Can't say I'm excited about this event. Not planning on buying it. Cormier-Evans was at least kind of interesting. Without it the card is just not compelling.
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) Who wins . . . Rousey or McMann? I'm going to pick MCMann in 3.
Re: UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann (Feb/22) I don't know. If her name was McMahon I would pick her. Rousey would have No Chance.
So I guess Herb Dean had a stellar night. Being accused of stopping the Pyle fight too late and the Rousey fight too early.

Few notes on the event... Rory MacDonald almost didn't fight because of a laceration he suffered on his hand cutting avocados a week prior; MacDonald says he has the fire back and wants to challenge for the title; Pat Cummins will get another shot in the UFC "with appropriate time to prepare"; Sara McMann is unlikely to dispute the stoppage but it doesn't mean she's happy with it; Rousey's next opponent likely to be Zingano or Davis (duh)
I don't blame Herb for that stoppage TBH. Was it fast? Yeah, but the liver shot dropped McMann and she did turtle for a second. Is it unfair? Yeah, I think McMann deserves a rematch, but I don't think it was a horrible stoppage. There have been far worse stoppages. I'd like to see Cormier get the winner of Jones/Glover.
