Yeah, so there's the jinkx. If everybody falls apart from here on out, blame it on me.

But seriously, 40 games played by Lillard, LMA, Matthews, Lopez and Batum.

39 games played by Williams and Freeland.

Is this the longest healthy streak this team has ever had?

Was the real key offseason addition the complete overhaul of the training staff?

CJ was the sacrificial lamb for the first half of the season.

Oh yeah, and Dr. Doogie How---I mean, Dr. Chris Stackpole.

He is not a true Blazers fan! No true fan would ever speak about injuries.

Is it just me, or does "Stackpole's Movement Evolution" sound like a title for a porn film?

I didn't talk about injuries at all in the late 2000's, and look what happened to Oden and Roy. Injured if you do, injured if you don't.

I love this team, but it's a beautiful house of cards. The fourth quarter against Dallas really drove home how well and truly fucked we are if we ever have to rely on our third stringers at all. Even for a few minutes.

The third string isn't THAT bad. They were put in a position to fail because the Mavs were trapping and Stotts didn't have a point guard on the floor. CJ isn't a bad ball handler, but when they trap CJ and he has to give it off to Barton or Robinson or Meyers, things aren't going to go well. He really should have left Mo on the floor, or put in Earl instead of Barton. I don't think he could foresee Dallas trapping like that though.

I think most teams 3rd stringers would produce games like that. The Mavs weren't really playing their 3rd stringers either.

That's a fair point. I think in the long-term CJ is supposed to take over the role of Mo, but that's a tall order to ask out of a kid who's only played a few games. But if Lillard or Mo miss any games I sure hope Earl still has some tread on the tires, or else it's going to be CJ getting dumped into that role immediately and it won't be pretty.

Who was doubting OKC when they were all healthy? Or any other team for that matter? They were "supposed to" be healthy? lol

It's like people think Portland isn't allowed to have a significant injury-free season or something.
