Thiago Silva out vs. OSP, obviously, and Nikita Krylov is trying to take his spot. Based on Krylov's wrestling in the Palelei fight I would think OSP is a terrible match-up for him but more power to him for asking for it.

Re: UFC 171: Hendricks vs. Lawler (Mar/15)

Hendricks initially missed weight, but made it on the second attempt. Mike Dolce is accounting it to the scale being off a little that Hendricks was using. I'll buy it because to my knowledge Hendricks has never missed weight.

The UFC would've given Lawler the belt if Hendricks didn't make weight but Lawler still beat him.

Re: UFC 171: Hendricks vs. Lawler (Mar/15)

Gotta say if Lalwer had a little more left in the tank in the fifth round that was his fight. As soon as he started to let off Hendricks capitalized. Could've been that Hendricks hurt him--hard to guess.

Johny Hendricks!!!!!!! Woohoo!! I think if he would have wrestled more, he would have easily won that fight. Awesome performance by both men! I had it 1, 2, 5 for Hendricks. I thought Hendro was getting finished in that 3rd. I have no issues with the decision. It was 2-2 going into the 5th and Lawler just gassed/or was hurt. Hendricks deserves this belt. I still feel he beat GSP. Can't wait for his next fight.

Gotta feel bad for Condit, but Woodley was whooping his ass. Woodley/Hendricks next?

Apparently the UFC invited Nick Diaz to the event, flew him in, bought his ringside ticket, and set him up with some interviews. According to Nick, he is ready to fight. On the after show, 70% of the fans polled wanted to see Nick fight Hendricks. I'd love to see Nick/Rory or Nick/Lombard. I don't think Woodley has much for Hendricks. He's faster than Hendricks, but I don't know if he can break his chin. Woodley has shown that he will gas as well.

    I'd love to see Nick/Johny.

Condit has a tear in his meniscus and a possible ACL tear. I think his days of being a major threat at WW are done. Every top contender seems to have power wrestling and that is Condit's biggest weakness. I don't think he'll ever be able to beat Hendricks, Woodley, GSP (if he does ever come back), etc...the wrestling just isn't there.

DFW has said there are no clear cut #1 contenders at WW. I think we might see Rory/Hendricks and then Woodley/Lombard for a title shot. I'd love to see Nick Diaz/Lawler II, as well.

To me, Woodley should be the top contender. Diaz shouldn't be in the conversation. MacDonald looked pretty good against Maia but that's only one win and not in a title eliminator type of match.

I'm okay with Woodley getting the fight but I think he will gas out in the 2nd round. I don't think he will be much of a challenge for Hendricks past the 1st round. I'm okay with Rory getting the shot, as well.

Diego Sanchez says he had food poisoning and attributed his poor performance to that. He also suggested in a tweet that Jury was running from him. I think Jury did well to out-strike and outmanoeuvre Sanchez and avoid getting into a brawl with him.

Who got the POTN bonuses? I know OSP got one. FOTN went to Hendricks/Lawler. Who was the other POTN?
