OT: Kevin Doucherant wants to be called "The Servant"

He is a dick, but honestly, those fucking low Basketball Inbred hicks in OKC don't make it much easier. Watching that crowd and their artificial noise and their team supplied "team spirit" is just lame as fuck. That's what happens when they have no real franchise history and struggles as a franchise.

 

OKC doesn't deserve that franchise. Those fans just had a championship ready team fall in their lap without any struggle, fuck them.

Wait until Durant leaves and they aren't a high seeded playoff team anymore, that amazing crowd will be Memhis level at best.

I agree that OKC does not deserve him, but it is what it is.

 

I can't say I follow Durant much off the court so don't know what his personality is. But I do know (following the Durant Oden draft pick debate) that Durant loves basketball and is committed to the game. He had a reputation of only caring about basketball and improving his game. On top of that, he is happy with his small market team . . and I have watched him this year take a team that lost it's 2nd best player and lead OKC to the best record in the west and a clear favorite to come out of the west. He is an incredible player.

And we ended up getting Oden . . . . .

 

Kevin Durant is the SHIT. The nickname is STUPID one. But for guys that are saying he's a dick, I could find much more larger throbbing members in the NBA.
Compared to the rest of the NBA, Durant is a saint and all of you saying he's a dick would LOVE IT if we would would have honked twice as a franchise...

 

I absolutely hate it when players come up with their own nickname. How about if we call him "kobe junior"

Everything I've seen of Durant on and off the court leads me to believe he's a good guy, down to earth (considering who he is).
I dont like the nickname. "Slim Reaper" is much better.

I judge whether I like players or not based on how they act on the court.

He's managed to become more unlikable to me than LeBron James. He bullies the refs, never looks like he's having fun on the court, and increasingly says douchey things in the media. He reminds me a lot of young Kobe Bryant.
