It's not over yet, but yeah..... I kinda had a feeling this was coming. The team seems like its coasting and not taking some of these games very seriously. That's the sign of a young team with inexperience and a lack of leadership. That lack of leadership could be the coach, or the players, but they're simply not putting out the effort.
The Blazers are not really a that young. I wouldn't blame it on youth.....if anything they could use some youthful enthusiasm. The 2014 version of the Blazers has been a far cry from the 2013 version.
It's not a lack of effort It's the other team coming out and overwhelming them and the Blazers don't know how to react. That's on Stotts for not making adjustments soon enough. He obviously doesn't know what to do either, or he doesn't have the answer on his bench. This game is a telling sign for the playoffs imo. Intensity goes up and the rhythm goes out the window for Portland. Can't play the shitty teams every night in the playoffs.
I'm weak, a coward, but my heart can't take this. I have so little time in my day to begin with, I could be going so much other stuff with 10-12 hours a week. I'm going to take a break for a while, not just from the forum but from the sport. I just can't handle this. The Blazers' season isn't over but mine is. Sorry to everyone whose time I might have wasted.
We shot poorly early, and not because of anything Dallas did. We weren't hitting our shots. Sometimes hackneyed cliches come true.
Don't take it personally, they only approve new accounts during the playoffs. Last approval was last June.
Long history, but thE board is essentially unmoderated and the past couple of years they were overwhelmed with troll accounts posing as racists, mysogynists, nazis, pedos, etc and it got out of hand, so they shut down membership. It's confined to the NBA and NFL forums, not the actual Spurs section, but everyone suffers because of a few fools who think they're funny.
This would be a large shame. Take a few days off and come back after you've had a chance to mellow out a bit.
