Hopefully adidas has the private jet ready to take him back to Portland tonight. Nice of him to show up to support Weber, but there are games to play, Dame!

In other news, I saw Victor Claver at O'Connor's in Multnomah Village this afternoon eating some grub. I may have been having some St. Paddy's cocktails. He was not.

My good friend's uncle owns that place! Been a while since we've been there.

Steve? I met him today. My buddy plays music there at times.

Yup! They have music there every Friday if I'm not mistaken.

Dame is sitting courtside and just high-fived the Weber player who hit a 3pt. shot at the buzzer. Reminds me a bit of how Joey Harrington used to come back for Duck basketball and football games even after he was getting NFL money.

Weber State wins 88-67. Dame looks happy, in that he has a tiny little upcurl of his mouth. Very cool.

I have no problem whatsoever with him going there. It's probably an hour flight, no big deal. He's earned it. Love seeing him show the loyalty, even though he's an emerging star. That's cool.

I played a show a long time ago at O'connors. I like that place.

I don't have a problem with it, either. Lillard seems like the type of player that will get more rest than half of the Blazer players for tomorrow night who stay here.

How dare he enjoy himself as if spending his summers working on his game is enough.

I wasn't criticizing him, and nobody else was, either. :dunno:

If he sucks tonight, we'll blame his debilitating trip. If he does well, we'll credit his refreshing trip. If he's in the middle, no one will talk about him anyway.
