The Ottawa REDBLACKS have signed import defensive back Jermaine Robinson.
Robinson (6-3, 205) joins the REDBLACKS after spending four seasons of collegiate football with the University of Toledo Rockets. The Pittsburgh native had a standout career at Toledo, recording eight interceptions, including four in his senior season (two were for touchdowns) in 2012.

Robinson also had 117 solo sackles and 229 total tackles in the four seasons. He also forced five fumbles, and broke up 25 pass attempts.

He was named to the Mid-American Conference all-star squad at free safety in 2012.

Robinson has also played for the Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League.
