Toronto's in a position to beat their franchise record of 47-wins if they can close out the season strongly. They have a favourable schedule but winning four of six won't be easy. The Bulls are neck-and-neck with Toronto for the third seed, a first-round playoff series with the Wizards hanging in the balance. Toronto's done well against the Wizards and Nets this year but the Wizards would be the obvious first choice for opponent given the Nets' veteran experience. Chicago also has an easy schedule for the last six games.

Toronto's also in a good position to win the Atlantic Division. Brooklyn are at 41-wins with seven games to go, therefore maxing-out at 48. Toronto owns the season series tiebreaker so to clinch the AD we need four wins. Seems more likely we'd get four-of-six than Brooklyn getting seven-of-seven. There is a bit of kerfuffle regarding whether or not the Raps should hang another AD banner if they get it. IIRC the only teams in the league that don't are the Lakers and Celtics, probably due to lack of space. Not a bad problem to have. I'm in favour of hanging another banner.

Media coverage of the Raps has been disappointing. If they finish with 49-wins, the Raps will have a better record than any Canadian NHL team--meaning they are the best team in Canada. You'd think with TSN losing NHL rights they'd be pushing the hell out of the Raps and trying to get all their games next year.

Wow, case in point, Sportsnet cuts the last (nail-biting) ten seconds of the Raps win in Milwaukee to show... highlights of the Leafs losing and a solid half-hour of hockey BS, without so much as an apology or explanation.

Great win tonight. The Bulls aren't letting up, either.

Raps set a new franchise record tonight for most road wins in a season (21).
