That was awesome. Seemed genuine. It's really good to see Dame show some emotion, he's always so stoic! Loved it.
He has a different sense of humor. He isn't outspoken or articulate with English but he fits in with this team and enjoys himself more than many realize. Funny him and Lopez are buddies because one is very articulate and outspoken and the other is kind of shy and short on words . . . but they must get each other's quirky personalities.
Are they legit contenders . . . Indy is going through a serious slide right now going into the playoffs. Reminds of a couple Blazer teams that were rolling along until it looked like the wheels feel off shortly before playoffs. They ended up being one and done. East is so weak I expect Indy should get through the first round, but I don't think they get past the 2nd round in a weak conference.
I am surprised someone like you would make such a statement. West or East, this team doesn't play any defense and has a weak bench. Not contenders this year
I think it helps that Batum is always trying to work that pick and roll with Lopez and looking to feed the Rolo beast.
Are you kidding? Aside from their free pass to the conference finals, Indiana looks anything but a contender. We may not play much defense, but you can't win scoring 76 points a game.
On top of that, they are sitting all 5 guys while still trying for the #1 spot. They just flat out don't care anymore. It's really entertaining to watch.
It's crazy: Indiana Pacers head coach Vogel said Tuesday he thought rest for nagging injuries represented an important piece of fixing what ails his reeling club, who have lost five of their last six games, eight of their last 11, and 12 of their last 19, sparking all sorts of analysis, exploration and commentary on what's caused Indy's free-fall from 40-12 historical defensive juggernaut to 13-13 worst-non-Sixers offense in the NBA. β[Rest is] not the whole solution, but I think itβs part of it," Vogel told reporters after giving his starting five a break from practice, which came one day after he'd canceled practice entirely following the Pacers' embarrassing Sunday blowout loss to the eighth-seeded Atlanta Hawks. Vogel evidently believes rest is a pretty big part of the solution, because he's decided to take the fairly drastic step of giving his entire starting five β All-Stars Paul George and Roy Hibbert, veteran power forward David West, mercurial shooting guard Lance Stephenson and steady point man George Hill β the night off for Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
