Los Angeles carried a one-point lead into the final twelve minutes of play where the D-Fenders and Warriors played to a virtual draw through the first five minutes, featuring four ties. Los Angeles would however allow Santa Cruz to go on a 12-4 run towards the end of the fourth quarter that allowed them to solidify the victory in game one.
