Can anybody give some insight on Aldridge pick and pop sets?

I feel like I have a pretty good awareness of the game, but I could be missing something. Why do Aldridge p&p's always end up in an ISO rather than having Rolo come and set a pick to draw their post defense away from the rim?

We never do it, but I feel like it would work great against a team like the rockets. Is it because our wings aren't accustomed to playing on the baseline? Or is it simply because LA is stronger with the Elbow ISO and more room to work with. His handles aren't bad, and while I wouldn't want him dribbling through traffic, I would feel completely comfortable with him putting the ball on the floor vs a center.
