Amazing as that sounds Tanaka is hands down ace of staff, Pineda looks real good, Kuroda looks like the good kuroda again. Nova still inconsistent but has better stuff than cc now and cc looks like he's just holding on. Maybe he needs to go eat some big macs and get some of his strength back.

I was thinking the same thing. CC can no longer be considered an ace. IMO he's nothing more then an over priced #3 or 4 starter. Unfortunately we've still got a few more years of witnessing his mediocrity.

CC seems to let up atleast 4-5 runs a game. That's certainly bottom of the rotation results. It amazed me how he was rolling along against Boston but still couldn't avoid disaster.

despite being paid like one.... I was just talking with a buddy at work who's also a Yankees fan... he said he wasn't going to touch CC with a 10' poll for his fantasy team and was surprised to see CC taken way before Tanaka was taken...

And to think our CC goes against Price tonight at Tropicana where he has not been a shining example of a stopper. . Note to Yankees staff during this series, dust Longoria like he's a crop. Sick of this guy relaxing every time he faces the Yankees. Shameful last year that the Yankees were swept at the stadium by the Bostons and Tampa Twits in succession.

I think every team relaxes when they face the Yankees as they never push anyone off the plate...

Agreed, CC is no more than a #4 or #5, and lucky if he could make any other team above 4 or 5th starter.

Sad a once great career in its twilight, go rest and retire CC, you gave it your best, and this is NOT it....
