Obviously he's coming back here after Stotts blows away in the wind.

He's a good coach, not a great coach. But if sota thinks they will attract better then they are huffing glue.

Next out is K Love. Minnesota is a mess right now...

It's not the coach. It's a shitty team with shitty players and shitty attitudes.

It seems like Kevin Love has been pegged as a Laker for a long time now.

It would fit. I really wouldn't be surprised to see Love and Westbrook in LA. I know a lot of people were saying LA would trade for Love, but I could actually see Love signing there and LA trading for Westbrook.

If I was OKC, I would think long and hard about trading RW.

God knows I love Rick Adelman, and he'll always be a Blazer to me, but he hasn't been the same coach since he split with Pete Carill.

It’s a shitty owner. Theres a reason the same franchises in the East are struggling year after year, and a franchise that had an MVP level Garnett for over a decade got out of the first round once.

Imagine if the lakers win the 1 pick... Would you trade it for Westbrook? Would okc do it? I think that trade would favor okc.

Some of those Sacramento teams of his were very impressive, and I liked what he did in Houston.

I think he's better than the average NBA coach but he's not one of the elite ones. But in the NBA 95% of the success is on the players, and indirectly the management that assembles that group of players. The NBA is very different than football where a coach can have some great system and search for the best pieces that fit it.

Ironically, that's what Pops does in SA. He takes a football approach to basketball. He's like Belichick: the system comes first.

I highly doubt the Lakers consider that with Westbrook having 3 knee surgeries in the last year. But I think they would definetely entertain trading the pick for an all-star if they could first attracted a second star to pair with Kobe. A Westbrook level star player along with Kobe don't by themselves make the Lakers contenders. But if they first sign a players such as Eric Bledsoe to a max deal then can trade Nash's expiring contract along with the #1 pick I bet they do it.

I don't think OKC would consider trading Westbrook for a rookie either, even if in principle they received more than equal value. Instead of looking at all-stars on contenders they will look at all-stars on mediocre to bad teams. That is why Kevin Love is always mentioned.

Yeah good points; Pop and Phil are elite, I'd say the two best coaches in the history of the sport. But outside of a coach like those I'd say those rules apply.

Did you just say George Karl?

He can handle it. He coached Milwaukee. He'd be willing to live in Minneapolis.

Adelman has dealt with some VERY devastating personal things happen to him this year. I can assume it has been a big distraction and caused a lot of his bad habits to come back, but he also probably has had an aneurysm watching Rubio constantly make overly elaborate passes that result in turnovers when a simply pass would have resulted in a bucket and then him missing the broad side of a barn every time he shoots probably didn't help as well.
I'll give the Rockets mad probs with how they have Handled McHale who has also had some devastating personal issue that have cropped up.

: / and all this because kevin love can't carry a franchise
t-wolfs have no excuse. they let go of Al Jefferson, but so did the Celtics so : /.
    (won't even talk about KG)

watch when he goes to a big market. mark my words same result will happen unless he is with a superstar.
kevin love is an average player who comes off down screens far too often.
Thank god Aldridge wasn't traded for him.
