Parsons has a right to brag. Before McHale's shit rotations left him without his legs, he was owning Nico.

The proper response is just to let it roll of your back and play your game.

I like Parson and he had a better game one but I cant help but wondering if being around Howard has gotten him a little too big for his britches?

Nico was clutch in the second half of the first game. He came up big and contributed big to the win. I don't get why fans give him so much shit.

This. He grabbed big rebounds and scored when we needed him to. Plus he took Harden out of his game in 4th/OT.

For the fans that have accepted Nico for what he is he has become exactly what this team needs. A great all around glue guy that contenders need. Could he do more as far as scoring? Yes but we really dont need that most nights anymore so his value to this team is huge for what he does.

And the more touches Parsons takes away from Harden the better.

Batum needs to ignore Parsons and the fans and keep playing team basketball. Nico is not the leader of the team. He's the glue guy. The last thing we need is for Nico to take Parson's bait and try to do too much. Parsons is trolling. I hope it doesn't work.

Sure, Parsons "won" the 1st half match-up. But Nic won the 2nd half and the GAME. Nic played just fine in Game 1.

This is all head games. Batum should respond with excellent defense and team ball offensively. When the blazers win he can tell the media to talk to parsons because he's the best.

And yes, I want Nic to continue to slightly sag off Parsons and give him a moderately contested 3-pointer. That's much better for us than playing up on Parsons and either (a) picking up a foul when he drives, or (b) letting Parsons get to the lane and put foul pressure on Lopez where Parsons can either score himself, or dump to Howard. We just need to do a better job of rebounding those missed 3s - in Game 1 they bounced over our first line of rebounders into mid-range territory where they were picked up by the Rockets.

Anyone else laugh at this quote “I think for what I do for the Rockets, he does for them, which is a little bit of everything. He can guard one through four, he can shoot the ball, rebound and pass. It’s a good matchup for me.”

Yet parsons failed miserably at guarding dame and la last night, lol. I want to see parsons play d on Durant or lebron, then let's hear him talk about how he's so much better than nic...

there's two sides here, IMO he came out early without the intensity needed, but figured it out in the second half and did real well. I want to see the second half Nic for both halves all the time the rest of the playoffs, that is what it takes to win
