This happened just before Game 1. Just saw this, and I love it. http://fansided.com/2014/04/21/nba-playoffs-2014-blazers-lamarcus-aldridge-predicted-record-breaking-game/#!FNcMs
It's from the alternate reality where Dwight Howard didn't foul out. Congratulations on the trans-dimensional post!
LMA also said before the series that he needed to elevate his game, and he was putting that pressure on himself. He didn't pull a Parsons and disparage an opponent to try and get himself hyped; he put it on his shoulders, and through 2 games, he's more than delivered.
He has given enough production for four games. He's put up 89 and 26. If someone told you that he'd average 22.3 and 6.5, you might be a bit disappointed with the rebound figures, but not unsurprised about the scoring. Instead, he's averaging 44.5 and 13. Those are Wilt numbers. Unreal.
All of them? Does that mean his all-time point record? It does!! Aldridge is staying for seven more years!! You heard it here first.
