...I think we're gonna win the series in 5 games. I like that Stotts has left the starters out there so they can get comfortable for game 2. I expect a solid 10-15 point win from the Blazers in game 2. We'll dominate them in Portland and come back to SA with all the momentum and close them out.
you did just watch the game, right? It might be a 5 game series, all right, but with San Antonio winning.
After tonight's debacle, I hope they manage more than 10-15 points per quarter but you never know.... Gramps...
I might be the biggest optimist on the board but I wouldn't take the blazers any sooner than 6, might be 7.
Holy smokes KS, you found some good stuff in the happy bottle tonight! Love the optimism but it's a fine line between that and delusion.
The Spurs fans that have been using it a lot and some of the Blazer fans on this board thought they could be cool like they are by emulating it.
I won't go as far with the Blazers winning the series, but I do think they will win game 2. I think SA will be a little tired after playing 3 games in 5 days. If the Blazers come out and attack rather than settle for 3's, I think that bodes well for them.
In all my decades of NBA playoff watching, each round inevitably gets harder to win. To get a split on the road is to get a chance to win. I predicted the 1st round in 7 and I predict the 2nd round in 7 hoping I'll get surprised and we win it in 6. We're probably not going to have another 18%shooting game in the 1st qtr that often. Against this team we need 5 guys scoring in double figures and most of the time we get that. Game 1 was a case of nerves and the hometeam was coming off one of their best wins in the season. They had the momentum and I think the extended time off was not such a good thing this time around. Guys looked rusty on offense and tired on defense. Blazers in 7 and I'd be thrilled
