I really hope Terry plays Will and Robinson as the primary bench players in game three because right now the Spurs are going on a huge run as soon as the second unit starts to filter in.

In the second quarter, San Antonio is outscoring us 77-48 in the series. That is where we're losing the game. We're letting the Spurs get out to a huge lead and we simply aren't good enough to come back from a 20 point deficit against the Spurs.

The second quarter is where we need to make adjustments if we're going to have any hope of winning the next two games.

Mo has become such a drag these playoffs. The only bright thing he gave us was like 4 minutes in game 4. Other than that, he's been absolutely terrible.

I'm totally down with using Barton now

I like that Terry tried using Earl. It didn't really work out though. Barton and Robinson are money. I want more of them. Hell, I'd be down with Claver at this point. We need to try something new.

He only used earl because mo couldn't play. If mo was fine then he would've played in the second half.

Is it wrong to hope that Mo can't play Saturday?

I hope he doesn't play for the rest of the postseason. I'm so tired of watching him jack up bad shots, make stupid turnovers and then get torched at the other end.

I understand that, but only way that happens is if he's injured.

Houston got out on us big too when the shitty bench players came in, the only difference is Houston isn't the team to hold that lead once they get it. The Spurs are. If they get 2 more big leads they win easily. Otherwise I think we can grind out a win or two if it is close. Gotta make it close though which is a challenge in itself.

Our main focus should be getting out on their 3 point shooters...don't give them any open looks. None. I'd rather Parker get open looks from midrange on our shit pick n roll defense than have someone help and get another open look for one of their 75% 3-point shooters. They don't fucking miss.

Yup, too many times we saw Parker collapse the defense only to kick it out to Belinelli, Leonard, or Green. Unlike our streaky guys, their guys were all hitting.

Yah, Mo is basically done. He's WAY to slow on defense to guard mills, or parker. And constantly dribbles into a corner or jacks up a whack shot.

It's hard though, because who do you have bring the ball up w/Dame resting... Nico? and then pull the thrill in?

Well.. Mo is injured... has been for what... a couple months now when the groin strain he's played through?
He saved the Blazers in game 4 with the inbounds save and then the 3.
Could make excuses that he's injured... but at this point Barton is more valuable off the bench then Mo is.
I just think his groin injury is too much to overcome for him anymore. After he lost the ball in the first half anyone see him get up and hold his groin? I did. I've had that injury before, don't wish it on my worst enemy...

Edit - I'm just a little worried everytime Barton is on the break. Driving into three on 1. But he finished last game where Wesley got it blocked so : / Idk.

I think you have to play barton now, But what worries me is I just see the Spurs doing what the lakers did last year. Ignoring Barton on offense cause he can't shoot the 3. And letting kobe just double whomever. But then again Barton in this series is what? 5/5 from deep? Idk. Glad I'm not the coach.

Barton is way more money than he looks. He has a loose style that looks out of control, but it also keeps the defender back because they don't know what he'll do. He's been much better this year about turnovers (down from 2.4 to 1.7 per 36 minutes).

Honestly, I think Watson. We don't really need our second unit to produce big numbers, we just need them to hold our ground.
