Just watching WestBrick during these playoffs...... and with Kobe coming back......

How amazing would it be for Dame to be as amazing as he is and still NOT make the all star game! They need to get rid of the way they do it and have just the 12 most exciting players, no positions.

Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant will be injured.

Kevin Love will be in the Eastern Conference.

Dirk's final appearance as an AS player was this year.

I see at least 3 open spots for the West, and that doesn't include Lillard from last year.

Do think Health will play a factor.
While I hope not, I don't think Westbrook will play a full 82 games in the regular season again.
Don't think Dragic will have the same season next year. Phoenix caught teams by surprise, they'll beat up on the bad teams but the better teams I don't see them going .500 against them.

The Guards in the west are going to be stacked. I'd actually be pretty shocked if he made it in again without being an injury pick.
Cp3/Westbrook/Curry/Dragic/Parker/Lillard/Harden/Kobe/thompson. When you look at that 4 look to be locks CP3/Westbrook/Harden/Kobe and only 1 of the others left out may get in. Heck when you look at bigs LMA could get left off as well Duncan/Dirk/LMA/Griffin/Love/Jordan/M.Gasol/Randolph/Dwight/Bogut/Lee/Ilbaka. LMA could avg 22/11 and Dame could avg 20/5/5 and it wouldn't shock me to see both left off.

I don't think Aldridge will be left off. He's a bigger name than most of those Big's are. By that alone if the numbers are even close... He'll be on it in front of the others.

Lillard is already better than Curry, Dragic, and Harden. And he might pass Parker and possibly Westbrook next year. He has not reached his ceiling yet.

I agree with Dragic and Harden (Though I love Dragic)

But I think Curry is just SLIGHTLY better than Lillard. But, you have to think, it only took Lillard two years for him to be only SLIGHTLY worse than Curry. That's pretty phenomenal.

If Lillard doesn't make the all star team he won't be a max contract player.

    Hurray for us!

He should be. He is a top guard in the west and is popular now due to the shot and commercials.

Only MVPs are worth max contracts.

Let's at least wait until next season before declaring who makes the all-star team...

You also worried next season won't happen now that the Blazers are good again? I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I think it's a valid question. Had Westbrook, and Kobe been healthy this year, I honestly think Dame would not have made it. Just curious how realistic his chances are for next season. We all know that no Portland player will ever get voted in by the fans.
