Re: UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida (Jul/5) Chael is out. Failed random drug test LOL. Throw Vitor, Barnett, and Chael in a cage. Let them roid.
Re: UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida (Jul/5) Or have Jacare rematch Rockhold and skip Belfort altogether.
Re: UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida (Jul/5) I know Chael stated he would have to find other legal ways to elevate his testosterone...or retire. Looks like there are no legal ways, time to retire. I wonder if he was on a substance to help him lose weight? Give the fight to Mousasi.
Re: UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida (Jul/5) Belfort pulled from this event. Hall/Santos likely to be promoted to undercard.

Re: UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida (Jul/5) Stefan Struve fainted backstage and his fight with Matt Mitrione has been cancelled. Card reshuffled as a result.
Heart palpitations caused Struve's camp to call in the doctors. Struve had a "near fainting incident" when they were present so they called-off the fight.

The Santos-Hall fight was close but I thought at least one judge would go Santos' way. Guess not. Rousey-Davis might be the biggest squash in UFC history. No hyperbole. I don't know if Machida would've been able to win that fight if he'd opened up and thrown more. He lets a lot of time pass between his attacks. If there was another round? Maybe. It is a little frustrating to watch him on the verge of being amazing. Weidman tested for the first time. He wore down considerably as the fight went on. His next opponent is going to be in trouble since I reckon Weidman will be in the gym working his cardio for the next four months.
After watching a few straight events with the serviceable Jon Anik, I definitely don't relish coming back to Goldy and his inanities. I think Rogan is good at being excited and into the fights but sometimes (Brimage, Hall) he seems to focus all of his energy on one fighter.
Apparently asking Rousey if she'd be ready to fight in August got Joe Rogan in trouble with Dana White. I'm sure whoever is in Rogan's ear put that question there.
Uriah Hall's compound fractured toe was pretty gross. Surprised the fight doctor didn't think it was such a big deal.
Bonuses should be pretty straight forward. I didn't see any of the prelims but I imagine that Faber will get one, Rousey one, and the main event will be the FOTN.
