per unreliable sources: They've mentioned on the police scanner that the suspect is down and medical was responding to one other person
Ugh. I'm not oppose to people owning guns . . . at the same time, there are moments I hate guns . . . or the people who misuse the guns . . . or whatever. I know kids that go to that school. Praying no one is dead or seriously injured other than the shooter.
I beg somebody to come on here and defend gun owners. This is bullshit! Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5S...... FAMS!
Police say at least three people with guns were part of a shooting Tuesday morning at Reynolds High School in Troutdale. The Oregonian is updating this story as it moves forward: 9:20 a.m.: Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a shooter who was in the school is dead. 9:17 a.m.: Deb Kafoury, Multnomah County Board Chairman, took a phone call during the county meeting this morning and told those gathered that a suspect is down and a student has been shot as well. http://www.oregonlive.com/gresham/i...olds_high_shooting_police.html#incart_m-rpt-1
I beg you to defend these shitty parents. How are their kids getting their hands on guns? You can't buy a gun until you're 18. Seriously, explain how these kids are planning these shootings without their parents even noticing that something is wrong? You're a parent HCP, if one of your kids went crazy and shot a bunch of people, who should I blame?
8:51 a.m.: Students at Reynolds High School are filing out of the school with their arms held over their heads. Authorities are evacuating the school. 8:53 a.m.: Police recommend that parents stay away from Reynolds High School. 8:54 a.m.: FBI is on scene at Reynolds High School. 8:54 a.m.: Police recommend that parents meet their children who are students at the Cherry Park Safeway, 2501 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale. 8:56 a.m.: Parents, some in pajamas, are arriving at the Cherry Park Safeway to find their children. Some are frantically on cell phones. 8:57 a.m.: Police are reporting that there were three shooters; two fled the scene. One of the shooters was caught at a church across the street.
Children are being raised by computers and televisions. Nobody can afford to stay at home, so there's an entire generation of latch-key kids who are lashing out for attention. They have no idea of responsibility or consequences. Seriously, someone explain how magically now all of a sudden guns are this huge problem? We've had guns in this country for hundreds of years without a rash of school shootings. The problem is with the kids and with the parents raising the kids.
Just take the guns out of the situation, that's all I ask. Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5S...... FAMS!
They aren't supposed to be in the situation. Why do you blame the instrument and not the parents or the kids? You don't think there's a serious fucking problem when children are thinking its okay to start killing their classmates? Look at the root of the problem HCP. Why are the kids doing this? What is the cause? Guns aren't the cause. Millions of kids handle firearms every year and they aren't magically convinced to start shooting people. There is a problem with how these kids are being raised, and until we start actually looking at the root of the problem, and stop blaming the guns, we won't fix the problem.
Instead of pointing fingers at who is to blame why don't you both slow down and wait for what really happened.
Yeah, and it was fine when the kids were waiting until they were older to become serial killers, but now they're killing much younger and people are freaking out. Go figure
The argument is much grander than one shooting Sly. Regardless of what the details are from this, there are going to be people like HCP who want to put all the blame on the guns and completely ignore the fact that something is causing these kids to lose touch with reality and start killing people.
That building that Reynolds high school is in was originally called Columbia High School. Columbia is very similar to Columbine. /Conspiracy
Make a thread about gun owners being picked on. No need to turn this tragedy into some rant/argument/soap box.
Blame HCP. He's the one who wanted to turn it into a debate about guns. And I'm merely discussing the bigger picture. Why is this happening?
