That's $19.3m for you not to use this summer, Sacto!

    Yet LMA isn't worth $20m/year over 5.

Yet, according to one report they are breathing a 'sigh' of relief.

Why does Gay opting in for one year make not signing LMA to a 5 year deal bad? Gay isn't worth 19 mil period, let alone 19 mil each year for 5 years....

    Stirring the pot, Papa?

No, just expressing my opinion. I realize me thinking LMA is worth whatever PA will pay him makes me an outcast in NegaBlazer Land, though. It's why this board is so inactive lately. I actually respond to idiotic posts. Most just tune out or go to other boards. Seen Mags lately? How about King Speed?

They both have lives? Busy ones.

You are sampling a very poor time of year.

Every summer here is Clown Town. Has been in this community since those of us at ESPN merged to BBF in 2006. I don't suffer fools, and there are many foolish posts each summer that continue to dominate the conversation.

Mags wasn't posting that much during the end of the season and playoffs... don't know how that relates, really.

Kingspeed I've seen post a few times each day. I don't post nearly as much, but I still see who posts.

    I still post.

I don't have anything to say, but it usually doesn't stop me.

Mags was being mocked repeatedly for believing in god on the OT board. It was frankly disgusting, and I'm not a believer. Why would he spend his time with people who mock his faith? The OT board here is a confederacy of dunces.

You respond to idiotic posts but can't be bothered to admit when you make simple mistakes. That's the sort of annoying shit that, IMO, makes the board a struggle.

    Oh really? Bad timing. LOL

Just because you may think I made a simple mistake doesn't mean I made a simple mistake. Now go back to bashing LMA like you were in that thread.

I wasn't bashing him at all. Sorry. And you were wrong about his trb% going up. Unfortunately it's just so difficult in times like that or coaches all star selections to say you made a mistake. You just argue for the sake of it or run from the discussion. Whatever.

He said Anthony Davis' TRB% went from 16.6 to 16.8 and it was the reverse. A very simple mixup, and a simple thing to say oops, I mixed those up, ha. Instead he bitches, he moans, he alters the subject, argues something else and ultimately runs from the discussion.

My bad. He was talking about LMA, you quoted him and said he was wrong about "his" TRB%.

I don't read the OT thread hardly. Doesn't grab me. So, I don't know the goings on there. I kind of attribute it to the comments section on a news article. You're going to get extremes one way or the other, so I don't read them because it doesn't offer an accurate representation of a group as a whole, since accountability is taken out of the equation. Whereas with sports message boards and the like, you may get extremes, but they aren't so polarizing like topics of religion, politics, etc. So it can be separated.

That said, he didn't post during the end of the season for what seemed like a myriad of reasons. Could it have been the OT section? Quite possibly. But I'm not going to speak for any of his reasons, because I don't know beyond what he has said (Work). I'll let mags talk for himself, and not jump to conclusions.

This isn't "Office Space". We don't have a "Jump to Conclusion" mat.

LMA's TRB went up. So did Lopez'. Again, what are you talking about?

Oh, that? Yeah, I flipped the years. So what? 16.6 to 16.8. Great. Good job. Wasn't the point that RoLo boxed out everybody for LMA? It doesn't mean that both LMA's and RoLo's TRB% didn't go up more dramatically. I also did point out that Davis' per/36 rebounding went up, but of course you moved the goalposts for some reason in a conversation that had nothing to do with you.
