Chris Lytle has been selected to replace Chael Sonnen at the UFC on FOX desk alongside Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier following Sonnen's ejection from the UFC due to multiple failed drug tests. The 39-year old from Indianapolis, Indiana is a veteran of over 50 MMA fights and was also a professional boxer. Lytle is universally beloved by MMA and UFC fans alike and if he can form halfway decent sentences on air I think he'll have a new career in MMA ahead of him--supposing he still doesn't have political aspirations.

Honestly there haven't been too many MMA fighters who were bad at commentary. Stephan Bonnar, Frank Mir, Brian Stann, Pat Miletich, Frank Shamrock, Kenny Florian, and Randy Couture were all at least serviceable. The only one I think who stands out as being just way over his head was Tito Ortiz who, admittedly, has issues with public speaking and was put in a bad spot by Affliction.
