Who do you like? Thibs wants Hinrich back. Can play both 1 and 2.

    Who else do you like?

Alan Henderson could be looked at. Made just under 1 mill last season.

Mickael Pietrus wants a come back try. Been out of the league for a year, has been a non factor for a while now.

    Point guards?

    Billups?

    We looked at jordan crawford.

Of course DJ, but we may be priced out for him.

Bo McCalebb... a star from Europe. A small 6-0. The knock on him is he had a subpar season for his standards last year.

Jerryd Bayless, made over 3 mill last season, but struggled with his shot.

    Who do you like?

    No Augustin for the Bulls

    Sun-Times Basketball @suntimes_hoops

Been told that D.J. Augustin would not likely fit financially, as well as how he was exposed defensively by the Wizards in the playoffs.

For a team that needs scoring, letting their leading scorer go makes a lot of sense.

We let our top two leading scorers go for nothing.

You think the Bulls should retain Hinrich and let DJ walk?

It really depends on the makeup of the team, what the those players will sign for and how Thibodeau feels about playing Rose and Augustin together.

I think the franchise is overreacting to the loss to the Wizards. I guess I don't understand the priorities here. If the playoffs are all that matters than why is Jimmy Butler playing 42 minutes a night in February? If the regular season matters then don't you look to retain DJ and not Hinrich?

I really doubt that the Wizards series is weighing heavily on management's mind. Frankly, while I'm sure they hoped to advance to the second round (lots o profit), they had given up on the 2013-14 season and weren't likely to have anything that happened in a non-Rose environment affect their judgement of their team with a healthy Rose.

Thibodeau has been forced into situations where he's had to play undersized guards significant minutes, but I'm not sure he likes it much. He's said to want Hinrich back, but as far as I know, has been silent on Augustin. We all know that Augustin's 10 times the scorer Hinrich is. Still, Thibodeau's a genius and master motivator. Sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad.

Actually Boozer had a good season, not last year, but the year that rose was gone all season. At least I thought he did. Until the playoffs, I thought he was our most consistent player.

Last season, Thibs would not play him in the 4th quarter and that affected his numbers. MANY games he would start out 10, 12 points 5, 6 rebounds in the first quarter, first half. Then Thibs would go with Gibson. To Gibson's credit he had a very good season last season.

I will miss his yelling. I will not miss his cheap fouls. I will not miss his shots he got blocked.
